The largest IKEA plant in the Middle East has become a reality, located at Amman (Jordan). For the building’s construction, which has involved many European companies, Inkema has installed Loading Bay levelers, Self-repairable Doors and Sectional Doors.
Since March the 6th, the Swedish multinational leader in furniture manufacturing sector, has opened its first shop in Jordan. Amman city has been chosen to host this three-storey facility which is built over a 42,000-square-metre area.
The project, a Kuwaiti investment, is the IKEA’s largest store in the Middle East and will employ over 400 people. Undoubtedly, this facility will invigorate the region providing new services and new products.
For the construction of the new plant Inkema has installed a wide range of innovative products, like the RH1 Leveler suitable for any loading dock, Self-repairable Doors and Sectional Doors.
With this new contribution, Inkema consolidates itself as an emerging international company specialized in providing integrated solutions for loading and unloading goods. The company currently exports to more than 72 countries, being able to compete effectively in markets subject to a continuous process of changes and globalization.
