Retractable Dock Shelter

Inkema's Retractable Dock Shelter - ABRE with a sloping roof consists of a perimter structure with a set of canvases attached to it. These canvases adjust to fit the body of the lorry. This structure is retractable so that, in the event of a knock or impact caused by the driver, the shelter will return to its initial position.

Its purpose is to provide insulation when loading and unloading. This achieves significant energy saving and also protects the goods.

Inkema retractable dock shelters are mainly made up of the following elements:

• Structure: Manufactured using 1.5mm galvanized tubes, joined by galvanized bars and covered with a 0.5mm PVC canvas. This canvas is very strong, due its flexible polyester inner mesh. This structure has a incline in the top part of the shelter to prevent water from accumulating in case of rain.
• Canvases: Consist of two lateral canvases and an upper canvas, forming a roof. The side canvases are screen-printed with stripes, providing visual support for manoeuvring lorries.

2. Galvanized tube perimeter structure.
3. Vertical reflective bands.
4. Welded top reinforcement for increased durability.
5. Incline for rainwater drainage.
6. 0.5mm thick flexible canvas covers.

The Retractable Doch Shelter has been specifically designed to provide additional flexibility during the loading and unloading of vehicles of different sizes.

In addition, when goods are transferred, the facility is insulated from the outside, saving energy and, ultimately, making the work area more comfortable.

SAFETY

All Retractable Dock Shelters are equipped with vertical reflective bands that make it easier for drivers to manoeuvre, and avoid collisions that could damage the facility and the vehicle.

The Retractable Dock Shelter - ABRE offers a variety of options that allow its customers to customise the shelter according to their needs and requirements.

OPTIONS

There are three main options:

• Extending the lenght of the shelter's top canvas.
• Possibility of adding wheel guides to he loading dock.
• Possibility of making the single top canvas into a double top canvas.
