Dock Houses

The dock houses and free-standing frame system couples the building to the vehicle. The standard dock house roof is formed by a special anti-drip ribbed panel with a slope that prevents the accumulation of water and allowing rainwater to be drained into the drip tray at the front. Depending on each need, it can be supplied in different versions:

• Structure only, for the customer to fit it to the façade.
• Plate enclosure.
• Sandwich panel.
• Prefabricated concrete.

Optionally, a dock house can be added to improve energy savings and the thermal insulation between building and loading bay. There are several types of dock houses suitable for isothermal tunnels:

• Retractable houses
• Fixed houses
• Façade mounted houses
• Inflatable houses

Inkema isothermal tunnels improve working conditions and goods handling thanks to their high thermal and hygienic insulation.

Always aiming to meet the needs of our customers with the best possible price, we have designed the standard isothermal dock house.

The fact that the dock houses are installed outside the building results in an easy, fast installation that makes the most of the building’s capacity and ensures the thermal insulation of the building and loading site. The operation is even faster and easier with our standard dock houses. 

This dock house we have designed has precise measurements: 2,580 mm in length, 3,400 mm in width and 3,660 mm in height. But we also we manufacture dock houses for loading bays of any size according to the demands of our customers.

Customized Dock House

We design isothermal dock houses adapted to any kind of installation.

Inkema dock houses are designed for use in warehouses, logistic premises and in all kinds of businesses with loading bays. For this reason Inkema conducts a prior study to ascertain the measurements of the dock house that best suits the needs of each customer. 

Because we know that not all customers are the same and each requires a different solution, our Technical Department studies each case in particular with the utmost rigour and professionalism.

As in the other dock houses, only the structure can be supplied for the customer to adapt it to its façade, in sandwich panel, prefabricated concrete or veneer cladding apart from being able to choose the colour that best suits the installations.
