Carrefour Opens Logistics Platform with INKEMA Products

Last May, Carrefour inaugurated a large logistics platform in the Logistics Activities Area of the Port of Barcelona (ZAL). The French distribution chain has invested more than 12 million euros to carry out this project that occupies more than 18,000sqm.

The building, of which Inkema has been part in its construction, is entirely dedicated to cold products operation (frozen and refrigerated products) and will allow the quick distribution to the shops of the chain, has the latest improvements in cold storage technology.

Specifically, our company has installed in this important project, 90 dock levellers with 1000mm telescopic lip (RH31), more than 90 sectional doors of different sizes, and 90 dock shelters (9 Premium inflatable dock shelters + 81 Retractable dock shelters), apart from other accessories for loading bays such as traffic lights, loading dock lamps, truck guides, etc ...

With this large job, Inkema consolidates as a national benchmark in the installation of loading bay equipment and industrial enclosures for new projects of large logistics platforms of cold that are being developed all over the country.
